ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

 

The VAVE Master Challenge is a hands-on ultrasound competition designed for doctors to demonstrate their real-time scanning and diagnostic skills using Vave handheld ultrasound.

 

This challenge will take place on

Friday (8/5/2026) and Saturday (9/5/2026)

at

NHAM Congress 2026 in KLCC.

Everything You Need to Know About the Challenge


Challenge Format

  1. Participants are required to obtain a PLAX (Parasternal Long Axis) image within 60 seconds using Vave.
  2. Image quality and accuracy will be assessed, and the top 5 participants will be selected to bring home a Vave phased array probe for two weeks.
  3. The images will be accessed, and the winner will be announced at the end of the challenge to win a Vave phased array ultrasound.

  1. Visit our booth at B49 & B50 and confirm your participation.

  3. Post any images related to the Vave Master Challenge on social media and tag @biod_medica.

Basic ultrasound knowledge is recommended, but all participants are welcome to try.

Can I participate more than once?

Each participant is limited to one official attempt.

How are the images evaluated?

Based on the quality of the scans, the numbers of application of Vave, and the description of the applications.

Who can participate in this Challenge?

This challenge is open to registered medical doctors attending NHAM Congress 2026.

Is there a registration fee?

No, participation in the challenge is free of charge.
